Our position as partnering contractor for TVC has continued into its 5th year with a further 64 property low rise refurbishment scheme and the award of 3 high rise blocks overlooking the Edgbaston cricket ground in Birmingham. We are currently on site installing a Structherm structural insulated render scheme to 64 Cornish properties in Kings Heath, Birmingham. The scheme will see the number of properties completed for TVC and Birmingham City Council by Transcast top 400 since 2006. BCC's high rise scheme is now in full flow, with Transcast at the forefront. The Edgbaston project is the most complex undertaken by BCC and involves the installation of structural steel framing to the external elevations and the fitting of a structural insulated render to three structurally deficient blocks of flats. The two 20 storey and one 12 storey blocks dominate the skyline to the south of the city and their completion, scheduled for early 2011, will transform the area.
